Affordable and convenient, Five Acre Farm is a beautiful and unique property, conveniently located just off South Fulton Parkway, less than 30 minutes south of downtown Atlanta in Fairburn, Georgia; accommodating small intimate groups as well as larger groups of up to 30 people for half day and day retreats. We desire to serve your specific needs within your budget!
Grounds include a large, split-level, covered barbecue pavilion having a 6' round stone grill, ceiling fans and lights for evening meetings. The pavilion overlooks a one-acre pond, stocked with bass and brim. There is a fishing dock on the lake with a pleasant bench swing.
Two very gentle, Icelandic horses are available for facilitated interaction. Interaction with horses has been proven to assist in a greater intuitive understanding of how we respond to and interact with each other. Also, interaction with horses is a very therapeutic, teambuilding activity.
The facility has a front porch overlooking a large horse farm, a roomy screened-in back porch and sun deck, a large kitchen, a dining room and a den having high, wood-paneled ceilings and a beautiful stone fireplace.
Field Trips...
Five Acre Farm is a perfect destination for children of all ages. As founder and coordinator of the outreach program at Chastain Horse Park, owner, Teel Montague is well-equipped to facilitate field trips that are fun, interesting and educational.
